Many pages of the site such as Articles, News, and Calendar of Events, are database driven and attached to an Admin area that allows for site owner to make easy updates when necessary. The nearest upcoming event is displayed on the home page with a link to more information. There is also an option to select a specific event for display on the home page even if its not the nearest event. Top 3 Articles, News, and Activist information is selected from the database and displayed on the home page for easy access by site visitors. The image in the left nav area is selected at random from a directory of images to help keep the site looking updated and new each time someone visits.

The home page chooses the next Calendar event and other spots on the home page allow the site administrator to show a teaser to any article, news story or bit of information. There is also a place where members can login to view upcoming meetings, documents and previous meeting minutes.

This small site has a complete content management system (CMS) for the site owner to add and edit pictures and text at her convenience. She can also link to other sites to increase search engine ranking and the site uses paypal to accept donations online via credit card.

This small web site was originally built in 2002 and then updated in 2008 with a new look and color scheme. Owner did not choose to have a content management system but the site still uses a database to store and organize vehicle information and photos.

This site features content management, auto signup and account management for vendors, online payments by credit card, and much more. Brides can find many vendors in one place, vendors can reach many brides.

Carroll Photos

Portfolio site for a local photographer. (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL)

Left navigation, header and footer files are included on each page (rather than being hardcoded) for easy site updates and additions. All photos and information (such as comments and photo category) are stored in a database and displayed on the proper category page when called. Random Testimonials and selected photographs are displayed on the home page. The Admin Control Panel allows the owner to update photo information, change the status of a photo (active or inactive) and add or modify testimonials. Originally created in January of 2001, we recently revamped this site to give the pages a small facelift and the owner more control over her content.

The home page randomly selects a Featured Classified Ad, Web Site Link and High Miles story and shows a link to more info. Top 3 News articles are selected and displayed on the home page with links to the full story.

This Old Honda

Another enthusiast site for older vehicle owners, buyers and sellers (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL).

This small site has alot of features. The admin area allows people to create an account to manage their "collections" and classified ads. All headers, footers and navigation elements are selected from just one file that is included on each page to make site updates quick and easy. A database of parts and vehicles for sale is controlled via the admin area. There are two levels of security for the admin area as well, super admin who has control over all items for all users, as well as individual user logins which allow a user to only see the items they have posted.

The Zany Lady

The order form uses JavaScript to submit a form of products ordered to the custom PHP built shopping cart. A discount is applied for orders of 13 or more items. Checkout is handled by sending a string of items ordered and the qty to PayPal who collects the customer info and credit card payment securely. Prelude Restoration

Displays list of repairs by date which open to display full details and a picture. Most recent entry shows on home page. Browser can see all repairs on one page or preview each day's report in a separate window using Previous and Next buttons. Administrative Control Panel allow for easy addition of repair progress and selecing pictures for upload. Site selects the most recent repair date and displays a message at the bottom of each page "Site last updated on..." and inserts the most recent repair date.

This site was donated to a silent auction event to raise money for the community. Bristol Woodworks owner, David King, was high bidder.

This small site was donated to help raise funds for the repair and restoration of this old community house. The content and photos were sent in a PDF file and the site was created from that information. It uses a standard header, footer and navigation file set to make additions to the site easy to manage.
